Vail Day 3: Heaven on Earth
WOW is about all I can saw about this day. We had about 7-10 inches of fresh powder overnight and headed to the back bowls. I have never been in a bowl but got an idea what a lone Rice Kripsy must feel like floating in a bowl of milk. There were so much untracked powder.
Vail: Day 2 Whiteout, Fresh Powder and Sun
Got up the second day and couldn't hardly walk. My shin felt like someone it it with a baseball bat. So the chose is to stay in the room or try to board. I didn't go to Vail to watch some stinkn TV. So off we went. Crazy weather today. Morning was perfect and got a few good carving runs in. Then the whiteout. We couldn't see 20 feet in front of us. Wind, Snow, Sleet. We had it all. We made it down to a lodge and waited for it to pass by. About a hr later, we headed out and it snowed all day. This video isn't that great but gives an idea of the condition after the whiteout.
